Hi all, I am trying to send multiple DNS queries from my DNS client implementation on Win2k. To do this, I just increment the query count field in the DNS Query Header, and append the new DNS query to the previous query. I am testing this against a BIND 9.2 server on Linux 2.4.18. The query I am sending is one for IPv4 record, and one for IPv6 record, for the same domain name. The BIND configuration file is correctly set up to serve IPv4 and IPv6 pages respectively. My problem is: The server returns format error in the flags bit, when I send multiple queries. On sending single queries, the server correctly returns respective IP addresses. Is there something I am missing ?
