Dear All,
Kame NATPT translation mechanism is a bidirectional mechanism?
My scenario is:
IPv4------NATPT------IPv6
My natpt.conf file has the following configuration
------------------------------------ # set 96 bit natpt prefix prefix 3ffe:1:2:3::
# [v6 -> v4] -- seems outbound map from 2001:690:2380:7776:204:76ff:fed9:9927 to 192.200.20.1 port 32768 - 36864
# [v4 -> v6] -- seems inbound map from daddr 193.136.92.105 to daddr 3ffe:1:2:3::1
map enable ---------------------------------------------
On IPv6 machine
“ping6 3ffe:1:2:3::193.136.92.105”
and I have Echo Reply from IPv4 machine
On IPv4 machine
“ping 192.200.20.1” I cannot communicate with the IPv6 machine.
Can you please explain that?
Thanks in advance Regards
