About IPv6 DNS client

Hello, I can not make my Linux host to send AAAA DNS request to bind 9. Could anyone provide any information about this? Does Linux support it? (I’m fuzzy about this because I can use dig command to generate AAAA request and it works well.) Thanks a lot! Zhao Guang
