Hello,
I(my company) is in the process implementing and testing IPv6 support(dual
stack) on our Remote access server line. They are linux based (2.6.11 kernel)
hosts. We can communicate(ping6, telnet, ssh, etc) between all of these
hosts using the Link-Local addresses, the Radvd assigned Global addresses
and even with 6to4 tunnels locally.
We are at the point now where we want to get qualified for the IPv6 Ready
Logo Program.
I am looking at Phase1(host only) at this point.

It looks to me as if the following needs to be set up to accomplish the
Self-test:
1. A PC with FREEBSD 5.4
2. The v6eval Conformance Test Tool software from www.tahi.org.
3. The Conformance Test package from www.tahi.org.

The PC then needs to set up to communicate serially with my host per their
directions.

My questions are as follows:
1. Has anyone been successful installing the Test Tool and Test packages on
a linux station instead of a FREEBSD based PC?
2. Has anyone gone through the Self-test for Linux?
3. If so, was there a way around setting up the tester to communicate
serially?
The instructions to set up the TN and NUT are quite cumbersome and I can see
that I will have many issues.

If anyone has any pointers or suggestions in this area, I would surely
appreciate it.
Thanks,
Phil Bellino
