Hello,
I am running linux with a 2.6.14.3 kernel.

I am using the latest ping6 from usagi(snapshot 1/2/2006) with the
"ENABLE_NODEINFO" compiler flag.

This allows a "-6 addrtype" option where "addrtype" can be a character such as
"g" that will request the responder's global-scope addresses.

See "man ping6" for more on this information.

ex. ping6 -6 g <ipv6 address>.

When I issue the command above, the pings go out to the network, but nothing is
returned. The same ping work with no problem if I do not use the "-6 g" option.

Has anyone ever used this option. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Phil Bellino
