It would be possible to do this, eg using WicketStuff's treetable [1]. This could be used automatically for any entity that implemented a special interface, eg Hierarchical. If you're interested in this then raise a JIRA ticket and get it voted on. And/or we can help you implement (Martin is our resident Wicket expert and has implemented several of these more advanced components for his clients).
