I am working with some of the apache isis add-ons, with great success on some and not so much on some others, so I ask for your guidance to see if I am missing something. I tried the fullcalendar2, gmap3 and the wichedcharts add-ons on my prototype and they work just fine. Amazingly easy to set up and use! J. Now I have been trying to use the security module add on, as well as the devutils add on. Not much luck on those so far. I double checked that I am using the right dependencies and parameters as shown on the tutorial (PetClinic advanced tutorial on github https://github.com/johandoornenbal/tutorial_code/blob/master/AsciiDoc/14_pet clinic_addons.adoc) and it looks I have followed all steps correctly. I read that you know that the security module is working because you will need to use the isis-module-security-admin now. And it will show the new menu on the right side of the menu form, but that is not the case in my prototype. I downloaded the todo-app and the statio app to check those out and I see that both ad-ons work fine on those apps, but they use much more functionality than the tutorial, so I got a little bit lost trying to find what is the difference with my prototype's repository. I am sorry if might not be providing enough information to help you help me with this, but I wanted your guidance or any hints to know where to look and if that is the case what else should I send you to give you more info.
