IIRC, you have quite a bunch of custom layout classes in the app. In order that I can assist, can you create a small example based on the current simpleapp archetype that demonstrates the issue, along with instructions as to how to replicate exactly. If need be, incorporate the custom layout classes that you use (if that's where the problem is).
