You need to tell the framework how to get hold of those objects.

Look at @DomainObject(autoCompleteRepository=...), OR
@DomainObject(bounded=true) on the referenced type, or supporting
choicesNXxx() or autoCompleteNXxx() methods fir the relevant actions.
