puoi provare con il tasto destro del mouse sul file e dovrebbe darti
le varie possibilità: altrimenti apri un terminale e scrivi "pdftotext".
io uso debian xfce, potrebbe esserci qualche differenza, ma credo che
sia minima.

però mi chiedo come rendere operativa.
