Apache Jackrabbit will most likely be used as the reference implementation of JSR 283, but as of now we still have few of the new features implemented. We will probably target for the Jackrabbit 2.0 to have all the new JSR 283 features (using the upcoming public review draft as the baseline specification), but a more detailed roadmap or schedule is not yet available.
