I am looking for the size of all the data in the repository for example the size of files in the jackrabbit repository, irrespective of how the data is stored in the data store, the amount of data that has passed through session.save(). A little unclear I guess.

depends what you mean - size on disk? size if you export? it all depends on a lot of variables. If you are using the default PM etc, then you can just look at file size on disk.
