I use a ServletContextListener to initialize jackrabbit repository. But, tomcat triggers the servlet twice, which initialize the repository twice. This happens when tomcat starts from eclipse or standalone. In fact, servlet being triggered twice is seen for some other servlets as well. I searched for reason on the web but couldn't find a reliable solution. Anyone knows why it happens and how to prevent it? Thanks, AJ
