Jackrabbit 2.0 will be JSR 283 compliant. The exact schedule is still open, but most likely we will release Jackrabbit 2.0 soon after JSR 283 is final as the Jackrabbit codebase will be used as the JSR 283 reference implementation. BR, Jukka Zitting
