Thanks for the reference.
I still would like to try the Bundle Persistence Manager (MySQL) per the
PersistenceManagerFAQ on the wiki.
So along those lines, how do I use it so that it also bootstraps and creates
the necessary schema upon startup? Can I use a similar line to Derby?
"<param name="url" value="jdbc:derby:${wsp.home}/db;create=true"/>".Also, I never got my question answered regarding the absence of the a repository.xml in the templates directory (of the war file). Is this an omission or by design? thanks again -----Original Message----- From: CHUN KI SHIN [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, February 29, 2008 11:50 AM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: First time deployment of Jackrabbit 1.4.1 Julio, Regarding PM, I've used SimpleDbPsersistenceManager to connect Jackrabbit to MySQL 5.x. I think this page will help you configure PM: http://jackrabbit.apache.org/api-1/org/apache/jackrabbit/core/state/db/Simpl eDbPersistenceManager.html > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > To: [email protected] > Subject: First time deployment of Jackrabbit 1.4.1 > Date: Fri, 29 Feb 2008 10:05:27 -0800 > > I have cruised through the documentation, through the mailing lists > and for the life of me I can't find the how to. > > My objective is simple.
