Just do a Node.restore(Node.getBaseVersion(), true) and then call
Node.isCheckedOut() and you'll know. It's in the api and I'm assuming
after the restore the node will not be checked out.

Subject: RE: Cancel checkout

Are you suggesting that I have to replace the current node with base
version
and call checkin.

Do I have to call check-in?

If I do, won't this create new version and if I don't, the current node
would be left in checkout mode?

Sorry for pestering you.
