I don't know much of WebDAV.
But after an half day of experience with
Archiva and it's WebDAV server, I thing that your assumptions are wrong.
archiva and it's webdav server?
are you sure you are posting to the right list?
i built the webdav library and the webdav server in
jackrabbit and am quite confident that connecting with the
xp client and with other dav clients works.
i don't know in detail which parts of jackrabbit
webdav the archive project is using. maybe it's better to
ask them directly.
