Migrating from File to DB repository

Hi all... I now want to move our exisitng File based repository and have 
everything in a database (mysql).

If i understand this correctly, I will be using the Bundle DB PM with 
DataStore. It will all be contained in the database then...

Can someone point me in the right direction to migrate in this path? I 
imagine i need to do some sort of export and then import.

Any clues, tools, and info, will be greatly appreciated... We are using 
JR v 1.4.1
