I think Jackrabbit should be as small as possible and only include 'real'
dependencies. In my view, text extraction is an optional dependency
(meaning, only a dependency if you actually need text extraction).
i agree with thomas and stefan.
jukka, could you explain what was the reason for adding this extra
dependency? i mean: do we really have a compelling reason why this
must be part of jackrabbit-core? if we don't have one, i would opt for
getting rid of this again and just keep this as optional feature or
plug-in in a different place.
