Can someone explain what the default 'administrators' group is for? In my testing it seems like any user added to this group has JCR_ALL privileges on all resources, except for group/user management. The latter is provided through GroupAdmin/UserAdmin groups, respectively.
Is this observation correct? Wish there was some documentation. Also, what's the easiest way to add multiple administrators which have the full authority as the 'admin' user. The 'admin' seems to represent a superset of privileges bestowed to 'administrators', 'GroupAdmin', and 'UserAdmin'. Would it be simplest to add 'GroupAdmin' and 'UserAdmin' as members of 'administrators'... the thinking is the 'admin' could then add new users to the 'administrators' group to create other 'admin'-level super users. -- View this message in context: http://jackrabbit.510166.n4.nabble.com/The-administrators-group-creating-other-admins-tp4660886.html Sent from the Jackrabbit - Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
