Hi all, Thanks for taking the time to look into my problem.
Your remarks about SQL2 led me to test the xpath/SQL1 versions of the same query. That was a serious blast... I can't say for sure for production environment, but we have tested a search on 180.000 documents and the query took ~300ms (including the count query !). I think we have a lead here.
