Hi, You can use Snomed in Jena as any other RDF resource (or dictionary, or ontology, depending on your preferred wording). Basically you need to look for snomed in RDF (or OWL), then you can use it in Jena. (for a test example, have a look here: http://sparql.bioontology.org/examples , second example). There a few more considerations to be done if you go for OWL, but that's probably not what you are after.
