Need to index a model : How to use IndexBuilderModel?

Hi,

I need to index a model , statement by statement. I assume there is a class 
IndexBuilderModel, and there is a function for indexing the statements : 
indexStatements(StmtIterator sIter).Can you guys please guide me on this?
