First, use the OWL_MICRO configuration not the default OWL configuration (if you are not doing this already). Second, materialize the model first before trying to write it all out: Model result = ModelFactory.createDefaultModel(); result.add( myInferneceModel ); Then you will see the time to do that step and can write out the result faster.
