If I would like to mention that I did a similar request some time ago.Not 
exactly the same but I opened a Jira at the moment: 
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JENA-541
I suppose that the fix I used is no longer appropriate, but it worked for the 
concerned version.You may adapt it to the current version.

I would like to add some Http Headers to the request that is made by
QueryExecutionFactory.sparqlService. Is this possible? Thanks
