Just to report it for others: The beautiful HTTP-only solution for dump didn't work with
my "old" Fuseki 1.1.1. What did work was:
/$/backup/NAME is a Fuseki2 feature.
HTTP on the dataset is a Fuseki2 feature as well. In theory, it could be
back-ported but that does not help Fuseki 1.1.1. The HTTP dispatch
would need change to the dynamic, not fixed style, which is there but
not been used in the wild for Fuseki1.
If there is anything (other than time) blocking the use of Fuseki2, then
do say so.

Is it possible to dump the default graph and all named graphs of a Fuseki

You can do a backup - this creates a n-quads file on the server Or you can do
an HTTP GET on the dataset itself
curl --header 'Accept: application/n-quads' http://localhost:3030/ds
It does conneg - the default is TriG IIRC.
And if so, how could this file be loaded in one step?
PUT or POST to the file.
curl -T MyData.trig --header 'Content-type: text/trig' \
http://localhost:3030/ds
Plain old HTTP GET/POST/PUT
