Hi Subash,

First try to check if your zookeeper has your kafka broker registered:

/opt/zookeeper/bin/zkCli.sh -server localhost:2181 <<< "ls /brokers/ids"


The output should list your brokers. In your case [0]. In my dev env I have
3 brokers.

[zk: localhost:2181(CONNECTED) 0] ls /brokers/ids
[0, 1, 2]

Then list your topics with describe to check its status.

> /opt/kafka/bin/kafka-topics.sh --zookeeper localhost:2181 --describe
> –topics-with-overrides
