HI All, We have 3 nodes kafka 2.2 cluster and going to add 3 new nodes with 2.3 version. The goal is to kill the old servers as we are moving to a better way of node provisioning. To make it happen we need to move all partitions from old nodes to new ones. The question is: can we do it while new nodes have 2.3 version and old one 2.2 version or we need to upgrade old one to 2.3 version to align interbroker.protocol.version before moving partitions.
