Hello Kafka Community,
We are currently using Kafka version kafka_2.13-3.3.1 on a Linux Ubuntu server.
This setup has been running successfully for the past two years to integrate
two PLM [3DExperience and Teamcenter] applications.
In recent days, we have encountered recurring issues in the Zookeeper services,
and it leads to bring down the zookeeper service within 10 days:
Every 12 hours/24 hours, Zookeeper logs/ terminal Console the following warning:
WARN Unexpected exception (org.apache.zookeeper.server.NIOServerCnxn)
EndOfStreamException: Unable to read additional data from client, it probably
closed the socket: address = /127.0.0.1:40312, session = 0x103e76486150001
at
org.apache.zookeeper.server.NIOServerCnxn.handleFailedRead(NIOServerCnxn.java:163)
at
org.apache.zookeeper.server.NIOServerCnxn.doIO(NIOServerCnxn.java:326)
We have already tried adjusting parameters in zookeeper.config (such as
maxClientCnxns and session timeouts), but the changes are not reflected as
expected.
Request:
Could you please advise on:
The root cause of the recurring EndOfStreamException every 12 hours or 24 hours
once and how to resolve this issue.
