I think you mean MMS, not NMS. The first phone to support MMS I believe is Ericsson T68, in the stores in sweden next week actually :) With color screen n gprs. The images and "videos" etc. han no limit in MMS (the phones memory has limit though). But the carrier of the message is WAP not the ordninary pdu that sms/ems uses.
For EMS, which is supported by phones like ericsson t39, t65, t68 (All new ericsson phones) and all new siemens also, I dont think Nokia agreed to the EMS standard, the data (pictures, iMelodies, animations etc) is coded in the user data header in a sms pdu. You can download the specification from http://www.mobileems.com. Each message can have 128 bytes of data, but EMS message can be truncated into 255 128 bytes messages (Ericsson t39 supports only 6 though), containen 32*32 pictures, melodies animation (16*16 pix) etc etc... /Pr On Fri, 19 Oct 2001, Stefan Cars wrote: > Hi! > > Does anyone have or know where you can find a table of what different sorts > of NSM features / EMS features different phones support.
