Sorry if this has been discussed before, I have been busy with other
things, Kannel has been running on our system without a hitch for nearly
a year now, I don't read the list as much as I should.. tisk tisk..

Since we use a GSM modem for our SMSC, when people receive sms message
from our system, they get the number stored in the modems SIMM card as
the from number.

So, I don't suppose there is a way to change this number ?

Do the telcos use this number to record and charge for the service ?

Which other SMSC protocols allow this sort of number spoofing ?

Any info appreciated...
