Hi all, I'm happily able to send SMSes with UDH 'manually' - ie. using the HTTP sendsms method, both with eg. single SMS ringtones, and multiple SMS ringtones where I'm doing the splitting and addition of extra UDH bytes manually.
However, I don't appear to understand what's going on enough to get long ringtones to work allowing Kannel (1.1.15 at the moment) to do the splitting and concatenation info itself. I'm specifying max-messages = 3 and concatenation = true in the appropriate sendsms-user, it just looks like the UDH is getting mangled? Secondly, I'd really like to be able to send out a message with UDH as a reply in an sms-service, but again don't understand how the UDH should be handled. So for now I'm using a 'get-url' bodge where the targetting CGI hits sendsms over HTTP as required. Nasty! Can anybody offer any pointers to relevant documentation? Cheers
