It's with Ericsson T28 and upwards, that it uses phone memory for SMS until the slots are used and then goes over to use the SIM-memory. This is the behavior when i use my phone during the day. > I refuse to believe that Ericson mobiles never forward normal MT messages > with +CMT, regardless of what the manual says. try to set CNMI to 1 to > see what happens, or play with other values. alternativly you can try > Alex's +CMTI patch and see if it works for you. The T28s only support mode 3 and mt 0, 1 and 3. If i choose mode 1 i get the following output in the bearerbox log: 2002-06-04 15:27:46 [5] DEBUG: AT2[/dev/ttyS0]: --> AT+CNMI=1,3,2^M 2002-06-04 15:27:47 [5] DEBUG: AT2[/dev/ttyS0]: <-- +CMS ERROR: 303 2002-06-04 15:27:47 [5] ERROR: AT2[/dev/ttyS0]: CMS ERROR: +CMS ERROR: 303 2002-06-04 15:27:47 [5] ERROR: AT2[/dev/ttyS0]: Opening failed.
