Hi Folks!

As a reply to the good help from here I want to tell you the settings that
I use now for my Siemens TC35 as SMSC.
I currently use the CVS-snapshot from this morning.
These are my settings and some hints - and of course one question ;) -
afterwards:

+++++++++++++++++++ kannel.conf ++++
##
group = smsc
smsc = at2
smsc-id = SiemensTC35
modemtype = siemens-tc35
device = /dev/ttyS0
speed = 19200
pin = 5xxx
#my-number = 0162177xxx
sms-center = +49177xxxx
include = "/var/www/html/conf/modems.conf"
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

+++++++++++++++++++ modems.conf ++++
group = modems
id = siemens-tc35
name = "Siemens TC35"
detect-string = "SIEMENS"
detect-string = "TC35"
init-string = "AT+CNMI=1,2,0,0,1"
speed = 19200
#enabled-hwhs = "AT\\Q3"
need-sleep = true
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

1. It didn't like the "enabled-hwhs", but it works without it perfectly.
2. In Germany you get "Prepaid-SIM-Cards" which DO NOT WORK in modems for
sending SMS. They are treatened as if they were used for datatransfer
although it's only SMS...and this is only assigned to "Full-SIM-Cards" with
a contract... :(. Today we tested this modem succesfully with a
contract-SIM-card. We will take the computer to Africa in september now
after finishing the database.

One question left: We've got here another modem, a Wavecom WMOD2, with was
succesfully opened with these settings:

group = smsc
smsc = at
modemtype = wavecom
device = /dev/ttyS0
pin = 1xxx
sms-center = +491722xxx

..but it didn't want to receive sms. Are there now other settings
available? Sort of at2? Some hints would be nice. Then I would use it
here for further testing purposes.

greetz and thnx for the help!

Lars-Hendrik
