This
is a question for the users' list (forwarded).
The
communication between the boxes themeselfs is done with a proprietary binary
format for intra-kannel communications. the communication between the bearerbox
and the SMSCs is done in several open and proprietary protocol, per module, and
the communication between the smsbox and the application servers is done using
HTTP either with GET or POST where query parameters of the request convey the
data, or using XML-RPC, formatted as per the documentation.
I'm
not sure about how communication between the wapbox and the applications work,
as I'm not dealing with wap.
