I think "simlinkin" means "symbolic linking". You know, "ln -s". But I think
you are asking where is the path where libxml was installed. Don't know this
one, sorry.

Subject: kannel install

Hi all

I have RedHat-7.2 and I am trying install kannel-1.2.0, when I install
"gateway.tar.gz" and I run
./configure
touch
make depend
make
it gives me the following problems:
make:***[gw/ota_compiler.o] Error 1

I have seen the following e-mail:

if you use the latest version (1.2.0) and still fail to configure
properly, try simlinking the libxml headers directory as
/usr/include/libxml2/libxml or /usr/local/include/libxml2/libxml

What does "simlinking" mean? I can not understand it because I have
installed the libxml2-2.4.2 (it was
installed when I installed RedHat-7.2)and I can not find the libxml headers
directory (or files).
Where do I have to look for them?

Please, Help me!!

Jorge San Jos
