I've finished my application that uses kannel and I tried it out with a few people. We all sent a message at the same time but after the first one went through we got the response " could not be delivered" delaying.etc . The messages eventually got to kannel though.
I'm using a siemens tc35 with a o2 standard pay as u go sim . Kannel has sim-buffering = yes specified. Am I doing something wrong? I just assumed I'd be able to receive multiple messages per second with a gsm modem. Thanks, P.S thanks for posting the startup scripts, I had to run kannel manually before that because the stable build init scripts didn't work on my rh 7.3. G. :)
