HI,
I have one question that I've wanted to answer for a while now. I have Kannel setup for SMS purposes. We are still testing so we are using a virtual SMSC - Nokia phone setup as a GSM modem.
I have this ringtone: "Brahms:d=16,o=6,b=160,l=15:4e5.,8a5,4c.,8a5,4g#5.,a5,h5,2a5,4f5.,g5,a5,4e5.,8p,d5,c5,h4,a4,8a4.,e5,2a4,4e5.,a5,c,4e.,8c,4h5.,c,d,2c,f,g,a,f,e,f,g,e,d,e,f,d,c,d,e,c,d,c,c,h5,8h5.,e,4a5,4p,4e,4e,4f.,8e,8p,8d,8p,c#,d,e,d,c#,e,d,4p,4d,4d,4e.,8d,8p,8c,8p,8c,d,c,h5,d,4c,4p,4h5.,4h5.,4d,4c.,4h5,4h5,4a5.,8g#5,8a5,8h5,8a5,8g#5,4a5,4e,8p,e5,4f#5"
and I would like to send it through. If I simply send the text above, Kannel splits my message into three different messages and sends them as standard text.
How do I tell Kannel (through the request URL) that I am sending a ringtone or a picture message?
My guess is that it's probably done via the UDH or MCLASS parameters. However, there is insufficient information in the Kannel documentation to confirm that.
Thanks for any help you may provide.
