Hi,
Nokia 5110 does not work as modem, what you need is
Nokia 7110/6210 and may other models. Check old messages in mailing list, you
will get to know many model which works with kannel

I have as SMSC Nokia 5110 and my cable is DAU-9P but I can't connect it.
I don't see "AT SMSC successfuly opened"
