Dear sir,
My name is Niran Oke. A J2EE developer and a Wap developer. I need your help in respect to Kannel usage. I have been working with it quite for some weeks now but I have been unable to make a solution out it. I have used the user guide that follows it. This is my secenario:
I want to send an sms via Http interface. I have already created a http interface for the sms message and it includes a the address. I want to link it up to the kannel engine. I am using the kannel to talk to the smsc. This http interface can be used by anyone who is authorised to used it.
My Questions are?
1. Am I going to use push proxy gateway ?
2. Is it going to be in the Bin folder in kannel and on a seperate text file or is it going to be with the core file.? I think I will please want you to guide in creating it because it is not found in the kannel but the documentation was refering to it as pushkannel.
3. Also, is there a difference between ppg file which contain
Configuring ppg core group, for push initiator (PI) interface Configuring PPG user group variables, Finishing ppg configuration, Running a push proxy gateway and must their content be in the same file. This is really confusing me and my other developers. I want you to assist in telling me where to keep each files.
4. Also, about the this secenario created above, I am planning to use ppg , do u think this is the right configuration to used in other to allow different user to send sms via http interface to different mobile terminal user at the same time with the scalability of the software declining because people are not really using it here because of its steps it takes to configure it?
5. Lastly, can I simulate the enviroment before launching it for final deployment?
