Hi, To use Kannel for Email Services you need to develop Email Wrappers which basically interpret the Keywords received from mobile devices and Process it. I am assuming that you want to provide facility of sending and receiving mails over SMS.
To receive mails from mail server to mobile device you need to first Process the keywords which you can do by Calling from Kannel URL which locates to your CGI or ASP script. The ASP or CGI script check the Keyword and Communicates to your Mail server fetch the mail using POP protocol and Push it to Kannel which deliver it to mobile devices using SMSC. To send mails from Mobile devices you need to do the same step mentioned above Process the Keyword in Script by calling URL from Kannel and you will get the text of the mail on received SMS from mobile device. You get the text and Send it to SMTP server for sending it to destination.
