Hi all,

I've managed to send wap configuration messages to siemens C55 and S55
mobiles, but there are a few things i haven't been able to figure out.

The actual message is this:

//PP
Ap;B2.0;C0;DSiemens;Ec40023f17bead205;F1;Ggsm_csd;I0031123456789;Lusername;Mpassword;O0000;Ppin;Thttp://wap.home.page;

The //PP is the identifier, i have no clue what PP might stand for and
siemens is not very willing to give out information on this (in fact
when i called siemens in holland they didn't even seem to know what wap
was, how's that for costumer support :-/). Anyway, the fields are
identified by by alphabet characters. i haven't been able to figure out
any of them but the most obvious.
D is the profile name. E is actually several parts. They're all
hexidecimals, i haven't figured out the first 2 yet, it's either c400
(50176) or c4 (196) and 0. The second part, 23f1, is the port number
(9201). The third part is the ip address of the gateway, 1 hexidecimal
for each field (7bead205 would be 123.234.210.5). I obviously is the
dial up number. L and M are the username and password for the dial up. P
is the 'pincode' (password) needed to activate the settings. T is the
homepage. Certain things like the pincode are optional. I had some
problems with the G field, but this can be left out as well. Apparantly
it defaults to gsm anyway.

If this is sent the connection type is ISDN, which is a bit of a problem
for me, so my question is how do i set it as analog?

Greets,

Roger Danse
