Hello I am using Kannel 1.3.1 via a Nokia 7110 acting as an SMSC. I send a sms in pdu format to a Nokia 5110 mobile from my kannel. My local SMSC sets the Message Reference Number to 93. When the Nokia 5110 replies to that sms It should send 93 in the Message Reference field right? How can I access that Message reference number when the reply gets to my SMSC. The pdu SMS-DELIVER message type has no "Message Reference" in it. I read somewhere that if I read the sms in Block Mode instead of pdu mode I would see 4 additional bytes at the begining of the message stream which represent IEI,LENGTH,MESSAGE REF,STATUS But then I Know nothing about Block Mode and I dont think Kannel supports Block Mode. All of this is to be able to reconclie a reply from a mobile user to a initial outgoing sms from my kannel.
