hi mario, I guess you are hard core programmer and prefers to do most of the work on your own ;-)
1. You can retrieve any incoming SMS from the cellphone by kannel. Kannel stores the incoming SMSes to the file. See the store-file attribute in kannel config. You may have to do bit of hack to read this file. 2. Rely on "default" sms-service. This will capture all the SMSes that doesn't follow any of the other sms-service groups defined. If you have no other sms-service groups by choice. You achieve what you want ;-) regards Navjot Singh -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of mario molfese Sent: Tuesday, June 03, 2003 9:27 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: how to read SMS via Kannel Hi People, I'm trying to write some C code to read SMS stored in a Siemens ME45 Mobile Phone connected to /dev/ttyS1. Is an hard and boring matter, however, because I'm not the best C Programmer of the World. So I was wondering if there is some manner to do that job via Kannel. For example, configuring Kannel to fetch them automatically and store them on a file, or in a MySql DB, or query them via a TCP Connection to the server. Maybe is Science Fiction, I Dunno.... Thanks for your help, everybody! Tanti Saluti, Mario MSN Extra Storage: piena libert di esprimersi e comunicare
