Yes, but what is valid for a source address as per the full GSM and SMPP specs, and what your operator/ aggregator/ destination operator will allow will determine when and when not a destination addr is valid for your connection.

SMPP error codes are well explained in a Perl module named Net::SMPP. YOur
error code means:

0x0000000a => { code => 'ESME_RINVSRCADR', msg => 'Invalid source address', },

It seems you have to set a valid mobile number as parameter 'from'. Did you
try to set one?
