3d 3b 32 4a means seconds after epoch, in hex. Date would be Mon Jul 22 00:14:34 CEST 2002 (quite long since). I agree that relative time is better.

08 is the encoded id for X-MMS-Expiry field 06 is the number of elements following the field 80 indicates that the date is an absolute value 04 indicates the number of bytes for the absolute value 3d 3b 32 4a but this bytes doesnt have any meaning for me...
If it serves to you, i am using relative time expiring with the following:
88058103015180 X-Mms-Expiry: 86400 08 (88) X-MMS-Expiry code 05 number of bytes following 81 code to indicate relative time from now in seconds 03 number of bytes following 01 51 80 is the number 86400 in hexadecimal...
