We want to charge on MT for binary SMS. However, we dont want to charge per MT SMS because many binaries are quite large so Kannel cuts them up and sends them individually. So, for example, we send 1 binary that is cut into 3 SMS messages. traditionally, we charged for this using the CDR..but as we now have 3 for the one binary it is a problem. The CDR is produced from the SMSC and not Kannel log files.
I am wondering if anyone as faced this issue before and what they did to overcome it.
