Hello All, I have a problem with setting up Kannel as a SMS Gateway. The smskannel.conf and modems.conf files seem to be setup alright. I can start the bearerbox and the smsbox separately and they hookup just right. I tried testing this by sending an SMS messgage using the web interface provided as under : http://localhost:13013/cgi-bin/sendsms?user=tester&pass=foobar&to=1234567&text=blahblahblah where 1234567 was not actually used but a valid mobile phone number was given [ i had no problems sending sms messages to this number with another mobile phone ;-)] I do not get any strange messages on the console(s) i.e. DEBUG messages are healthy and I get a 202 confirmation of the message being sent. However, I am inclined to think that Kannel is not able to actually send the message. My question is ; Do we need to explicitly send the SMS message from Kannel to the SMSC (SMS Center) as well, once we have sent it from the web interface(browser) to the sms gateway ? Can anyone please help ? TIA.
