SMPP with Kannel

Hello,

i'm Cristiano and i works in an italian newspaper.

I have a problem with Kannel.

I installed Kannel on a linux machine.

From my Mail Server (that is a smpp client), i send an email that the same mailserver converts in sms, and send it to smpp server.

On the linux machine is attached via serial port a gsm phone (nokia 6150).

The question is: can Kannel get the sms from Mail Server and send it to serial port?

Is Kannel SMPP Server?
