box terminates when FROM is alphanum for inbound sms?

hi list,

gwlib/octstr.c:1256: octstr_append_char: Assertion `ch <= UCHAR_MAX' failed.

I guess somebody posts the solution to this problem few days ago but i
seemed not to find that.
